Dear B2B Families,

On Friday we stayed in town and we all went to the climbing gym. We were taught how to belay and climb safely. Everyone enjoyed the new experience. Saturday we travelled to Kanab Utah where we camped for two nights. Before departing, we did our weekly review group and tracked our progress that we did for the week. We left around 11 am on Saturday morning and it took about 3 hrs to arrive in Kanab. We first stopped at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State park but it was brief because it started raining shortly after we got there. After the pink sand dunes we checked out the Dragon’s Belly Tunnel which was just down the road from the campsite just a few miles away from Kanab after maybe 30 mins of hiking we left and arrived at the campsite the campsite was pretty cool it was right next to a fest flowing creek. We made sandwiches for lunch and played some cornhole and spades and just relaxed for a while then we made steaks, veggies and potatoes for dinner. Everything turned out really well and was good. After dinner we sat around the campfire and did a little group meeting and roasted marshmallows and hung out. We talked and went to sleep around 10pm. It unfortunately started raining and a few people had to cover their tent up with a tarp because the rain was totally unexpected.

Sunday we woke up and made breakfast burritos with eggs and bacon and cheese. Around 10am we went on a 3 miles hike through deep fine sand to a beautiful slot canyon which was around 1 mile long. It was tough hiking because of the deep sand. That night we ate tacos, relaxed and then went to a meeting in Kanab. It was a small meeting with only 4 other people but the readings were good and we all got a chance to share our experience. After the meeting we went to a gas station picked up some more fire wood and enjoyed some smores. We left Monday morning around 7am was a quick 3hr drive back home did a weekend review and then cleaned out the vans. Overall its was a pretty easy relaxing trip.

Love,
The B2B Boys
