Good morning B2B families and friends!

Client T here, and as always, coming to you from Flagstaff, AZ! The end of the week and weekend were quite eventful, and jam packed full of excitement. We also got two new clients, so let me introduce clients O and D. Client O hails from Colorado, can absolutely shred on a snowboard, and is an all around solid guy. Client D comes to us from New Orleans, LA, and only arrived a short time ago, so I don’t have much to tell ya’ll about him yet, but definitely stay tuned! Now, on to the good stuff…

dog in the desertWe were super excited when we woke up on Sunday, because the whole weekend revolved around going snowboarding and skiing on Tuesday, so we were all amped to crush the hikes and hit the slopes. We piled into the vans and hit the Men’s Stag AA meeting, then drove to Oak Creek Canyon, right outside of Sedona. Once there, we split into two groups, with two separate hikes, with the plan to switch off and do the other hike the day after. My group (the A-Team Crushers), was led by Guide Nick and assisted by Intern Mike. We drove to our hike, the AB Young trail, and many foul words were uttered under our breaths, as we found out the the 4ish mile round trip hike climbed about 2000 feet of elevation within a mile and a half. Nevertheless, we set off, and were all shocked to find out that client O is a beast at hiking. We made it up and down that trail in about an hour and a half, and everyone did fantastic. After the hike we went to Manzanita Campground, where after another hour or so, the other group finally showed up (sneak diss). We feasted on calzones, and set up our tents, for it was quite chilly down there, and finally rested our weary eyes, eager for the rest of the weekend.

Monday morning rolled around, and we popped up out of our sleeping bags. Most of us were up even before the wake-up time, and set about making a breakfast and coffee. Unfortunately, we forgot 85% of the ingredients to make what we had planned, and to be honest I kind of already forgot what we ate, but I’m sure it was delicious! After that the other group loaded up into the van, and we began our hike from the campground. Once again, A Team crushed it, and we made our way to see a naturally formed arch, which was beautiful, and a very real reminder about how incredible nature really is. After the hike we drove back to Flagstaff to get all geared up for snowboarding and skiing (we also stopped at the gym for a few hours, but I feel like I talk about the gym too much in these letters, so I’m gonna let it slide). Once we were adequately sure our equipment was both functional and looked cool, we returned to the house, where a delectable dinner of chicken alfredo was cooked. Excited for our slope sesh the following day, we hit an AA meeting, then went to sleep.

Tuesday was an awesome day. We got up around 7 to find a wonderful surprise. Client M had gotten up early and made a great breakfast for everyone, so the day started off strong. We loaded all our stuff in the vans and began our drive up Mt. Humphreys, to finally hit the slopes. Once there, we split up into multiple groups based on skill and comfort level. Some of the guys hit the big mountain right away, a few had lessons, and my group got their bearings on the bunny hill before making our way up the real mountain. It was so much fun. There are quite a few funny stories and things that happened, but I don’t want to spoil the storytelling for your sons. We snowboarded and skied until 1ish, and everyone had a blast. we returned to the van sore, scraped up, but in fantastic moods. After that we came back to Hunter House, did our derig and had an in house meeting. After our day was over, a car pulled into the driveway, and we then welcomed Client D late last night. And so, our incredible weekend was finished, and back to the daily grind (and lots of time in the gym, muahaha).

So until next time, y’all take care, have a safe and fun week.
