This weekend’s trip was one of the fun adventures. On our first day, the boys swiftly cleaned our dwelling and feasted on delicious croissant breakfast sandwiches. With our departure time delayed due to unexpected things and our stomachs full, we departed to our first choice of a trailhead. but soon realized that there was no parking left and we were too late. Swiftly, our quick-witted wilderness staff concocted a new plan of going to an epic spot known as “the crack”. With vibes on point and spirits high, we made our way further south. Once arriving at the spot we quickly unloaded our packs and embarked down the trail. Once arriving at our destination we were pleased to see many people and great cliffs to leap and flip from.

After a few hours of shenanigans, one of our own fearlessly dared a quadruple backflip but sadly back flopped on his third and one-half rotation. It was almost amazing. Shortly after he exited the water we knew something was wrong. We packed our bags and headed back to the van to get our friend checked out at the ER in Sedona. Once there, we dropped him off and were sadly not allowed in due to coronavirus, so the rest of the boys went back to the house. On the rising of the sun the next day, we gathered our gear to hike the “Elden Slabs”, but just like in life our plans changed due to unforeseen circumstances. So we took a short trip to an ancient Native American ruin site and then had a deep introspective group (sharing is caring) at a quaint duck pond on the lower east side of the Flagstaff.

After these wholesome activities, we decided to take it easy and relax poolside at the gym. We wrapped it up with an AA meeting in the afternoon Even though some unfortunate events occurred, this weekend was still fun and full of adventure for all.

Thanks, love you.
