This weekend, due to the family weekend scheduling, the boys did an in-town trip. The group began Saturday with an outside AA speaker meeting, which everyone seemed to enjoy. Following that, those who were participating in family weekend were picked up by their families, while those who remained back, spent the next four hours lovingly cleaning the house and its vast and spacious grounds. Fortunately, we all managed to endure, and afterwards the boys went to laser tag.
Family weekend was overdue and cathartic for all involved. Some spoke. Some listened. All felt hope and relief…
And then came the news that we were going on another camping trip. The boys remembered their PMA’s (Positive Mental Attitude) and got excited about another outdoor excursion.
To Jack’s canyon we went, where all sauntered, jaunted, and moseyed at will. Laughs were had. The adventurers considered crossing the rubicon flowing speedily at the base of the canyon, imagining the decisions made by mighty Alexander the Great. However, the group humbled itself and placed safety above adventurous spirit, making the wise decision to return home due to worsening weather.
A valued member of the tribe once again shared their life story with the group, lending greater perspective to said members current endeavor. The tribe’s support afterwards was palpable. And then we watched the Irishman, which was awesome.

Monday morning. Hitting the gym. Getting some Wall-e-ball in. The boys ate bratwurst for lunch and wrapped up the week with another Community meeting.
Love,
The Boys.
