Dear families,

When we arrived at the campground, we set up camp and split into two different hiking groups. The first group hiked to the top of Flat Iron while the other group did a different hike. Flat Iron was a 6-mile hike with 2,900 elevation gain and the other hike was a short jaunt to a popular area. The weather on our first day was great, sunny with no wind chill.
On the second day our groups switched hiking areas, one group had more of an adventure hike with a little bouldering and the second group did a different popular hike. One of the residents told their story during an A.A. meeting. We were all happy to have heard the story which was told perfectly. Our sharing is caring topic was a farewell to one of the staff members, we all shared a specific memory we had with them and what we gained from their role. All in all this was a great trip, warm weather, fun hikes, and a special time with people who are moving on.
Thanks,
B2B Residents
