Every couple of months we are required to do what B2B calls a “solo.” We are spread out in individual locations and are assigned therapeutic work from our counselors. We do this to learn to sit and be content with ourselves and to have time for self-reflection in the outdoors. This weekend the boys went to Woody Mountain. We stayed atop a beautiful canyon that overlooked Sedona. The first day was a warm one but it wound up being a beautiful night with an awesome view of the stars. The second day a lightning storm rolled in and for a moment appeared it was coming right towards us. At the last moment it split around us and we were able to watch the storm from a safe distance over the canyon. Early Monday we got together and had a delicious breakfast prepared by the staff. We shared about some assignments and had a solid community to wrap up the trip. Camping alone for a weekend is tough but all the boys seemed to pull through with a positive attitude.

Until next time dem’ Boyz
