This weekend we traveled to Utah and visited Lake Powell. The weather was hot and sunny our entire time at the lake. When we first arrived one of the vans got stuck, but luckily a kind Samaritan towed us out of the sand. The first day we found a good camping spot and set up camp. Then, we relaxed and swam in the cool blue lake water. After swimming for a while we journaled about past, present and future issues we have encountered. Following our journaling we cooked tacos for dinner. They were scrumptious. Then we did a mediation on the soft sand of the beach.

The next day, Sunday, we split into two groups: one group going hiking and visiting Horseshoe Bend and the second group went paddle boarding and cliff jumping. Then after four hours the two groups switched activities. It was a blast! For dinner we had some really good stir fry. Then we shared the entries from our journals that we had written the previous day. There was a lot of quality conversation. Overall, this trip was full of adventures and a wonderful experience!

Until Next time,
The Boys
