This weekend the B2B Boys took a trip to Keet Seal Navajo monument. First day we left the house at 8:30 a.m, when we arrived at the campsite we made an out door corn hole set out of flat slabs of pebbles and dug small holes to complete the famous B2B primitive cornhole. We made a tournament out of what we had and it was a blast! After, we went to an orientation at the visitor center to learn a bit about the Ruins and the Hopi people.

The next day we rose with the comfort of the sun and set out for the 8.5 mile trek to our campsite in the canyon and to tour the ruins. It took us 4 hours to get to where we were staying. After our arrival we set up camp and waited for our turn to be shown the ruins. The tour of the Keet Seal Ruins was an amazing experience. The guide said the thought was that the ruins had originally been built by the Anazazi clan in the 13th century. After the tour we went back to camp, cooked dinner and followed up with a sharing is caring topic. After our group we went to bed early because we had a wake up at 5 am the next morning.

The next day were anxious to get home. The hike back took us only 3 hours! We crushed it! We hit the vans and packed everything in after enjoying some sandwiches. We hit the road for the Hunter house. After arriving back home we de rigged the vans and were rewarded with some delicious Cane’s for our hard hiking and de rigging. Thats all for this week families, see you next week!
