Dear families,
This week we had quite an adventure! On Sunday we all went to the gym and played some rousing games of volleyball. It got very competitive, but we all got along and had fun. After the gym we tackled the rock-climbing gym where we pushed our limits on what we could climb. It was very exhilarating to be up on that wall about 20 feet or more off the ground with nothing but a harness and rope keeping you from falling. We then headed to a meditation meeting that was just getting on its feet. This was its grand opening, so to speak, and it had a large showing of 20 people plus our group of 8 making it a small room packed with 28 people all meditating for twenty minutes. After we finished meditating, we discussed for another hour. We went back to hunter house where we went to sleep. On Monday we went to Arizona Snowbowl where we all went skiing or snowboarding. It was so much fun and we all pushed our bodies for hours. Afterwards we went to the house cooked, ate, and slept which was easy to do with how tired we all were. On Tuesday we did a sharing is caring topic by the Stupa (a Buddhist shrine). Stay tuned for the next adventure report!
Until next time,
